The Helix Nebula looks like a giant eye
The stars gaze patiently
When I tell them, it is your eyes
They are trying to imitate
In all their reflected fires
When I whisper a secret
It's in your words I say it
You saturate every fabric
With converse threads
Of your most commonly rare being
You made the world a worship
Of all that's you
In your disparate phenomenon
So that your countenance
Is ever visible
In the faint highlight
Of every other eye
And every eye, a lover.
